SWITCH LEADER UPDATE — ONE NIGHT

This is that night. If there’s one night students are going to invite friends… it’s this one. Let’s be ready. Let’s expect God to move.

• Be a shepherd, not a chaperone – Sit with your students during worship, engage, lean in spiritually, not just behaviorally

• Set the atmosphere – Come expectant. Your faith sets the tone before a word is even spoken

• Create space for the Holy Spirit – Don’t rush moments. Let things breathe. Let students respond

• Be ready for real conversations – After worship, students may open up. Stay present and available

• Know your next step – If something heavy comes up, walk with them to prayer, a staff member, or continued conversation

• High School groups – You’ll meet in the auditorium after worship—help guide that transition smoothly

• Middle School groups – Stick to your normal spots—be intentional pulling your students in

• Follow up matters – What starts tonight shouldn’t end tonight. Reach out this week

• Pray intentionally – Before, during, after. Pray for boldness, freedom, and life change

• Bring energy – This is not a normal night. Let’s lead like it

• Have fun – Joy breaks down walls. Walls down = hearts open
